Informed by Richard Schwarz' IFS
(Internal Family Systems)

Do you sometimes feel surprised by how triggered you can feel?

Does your inner critic often dominate your thoughts?

Do you feel stuck in your current situation and overwhelmed by the options?

Is there a part of you that lacks confidence?

Do you feel that anxiety is getting in the way of your work or relationships?

Do you have polarised views when trying to make decisions?

Is there a part of you that sabotages your plans with addictive behaviours?

Do you long to find refuge from the constant chatter in your mind?
WHAT IS IFS?

INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS
IS A THERAPEUTIC APPROACH WHICH CAN HELP YOU FIND CLARITY, CALM AND SELF-COMPASSION.

IFS is NON-PATHOLOGISING. We avoid making assumptions from a diagnosis and instead aim to get to know what is going on for you personally.

AS AN IFS COACH, I WILL ASK YOU QUESTIONS DIRECTING YOUR FOCUS INWARD, TO HELP YOU IDENTIFY PARTS OF YOURSELF THAT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN YOUR CURRENT MINDSET.

You may find that some parts have suffered through difficult times and still have unmet needs. Witnessing the stories and any unexpressed feelings/extreme beliefs can enable you to find compassion, and meet the parts’ needs going forward.

When welcomed and fully heard, parts can recover, and play a healthier, less sabotaging role in our system.

WE ALL CAN, WITH THE RIGHT SUPPORT, CHOSE WHICH PART OF OURSELVES
IS IN THE DRIVING SEAT.
I AM QUALIFIED AS AN IFS-INFORMED COACH RATHER THAN A CERTIFIED IFS THERAPIST.
THIS MEANS I AM QUALIFIED TO HELP YOU
IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY FUNCTIONING “OK”, BUT WANT TO GET TO A LEVEL WHERE YOU FEEL YOU ARE THRIVING.
IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING WITH YOUR MENTAL HEALTH FOR SOME TIME, YOU MAY NEED TO SEE A CERTIFIED IFS THERAPIST. CLICK HERE FOR THE IFS INSTITUTE’S DIRECTORY OF LICENCED IFS THERAPISTS.
